CDA Deputy Director Ayaz Khan reported missing from Islamabad

According to initial police details, Ayaz Khan had visited CDA office on Thursday and last he contacted was with his wife.

According to the officer’s wife Ayaz Khan left office at 04:00pm and he had to reach his residence in G13, police officer added.

Police have launched an investigation after registering the missing report but unfortunately the CCTV cameras installed near Melody Market CDA office, were out of order, police informed.

Officials further said that the deputy director’s personal assistant informed them that he was missing.

“CDA is inquiring into the whereabouts of the deputy director and all security institutions have been informed that he is missing,” the officials added.

On October 16, SP Tahir Dawar went missing from Islamabad and was found dead in Nangarhar earlier this week. His martyrdom was confirmed by the Afghan government.
