Islamabad: Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel said on Friday that the former prime minister Imran Khan’s medical report contained information about his erratic alcohol use, unstable mental health, and lack of a leg fracture.

After the former prime minister underwent testing at the PIMS hospital following his arrest on May 9, Patel was informing media personnel in Karachi about the results of his medical report. Before giving the report’s specifics during the press conference, the health minister stated that it was a “public document.” He claimed that the report contains no information about the foot fracture that Khan claimed he experienced after the attempted murder on November 3.

“He [Imran Khan] had a plaster on his foot for about five to six months, however, the medical report did not indicate any fracture,” he added.

The minister said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief’s urine sample was also taken. He said that the initial report shows the presence of toxic elements and the excessive usage of alcohol and cocaine.

Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel has said he will be writing to the disciplinary committee of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council on the “first working day”, asking them to summon doctors who “wrongly” declared PTI chief Imran Khan’s leg was fractured.

Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel has held PTI chief Imran Khan responsible for “destroying the culture of politeness in our politics, respect and political tolerance.

“Was there any social fabric that this — I would say cult not a party — has not destroyed?”

Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel, while terming PTI Chairman Imran Khan a narcissist, said that the former prime minister “should be kept in a museum”.

“Being a narcissist, he is insistent on his lies and calls them the truth. This narcissist has been inciting people and diverting the youth to the wrong path,” he added.

Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel has claimed that former prime minister Imran Khan’s “mental stability is questionable” as per his medical reports.

“This is your prime minister about whom a five-member panel of senior doctors is saying that his mental stability is questionable. There was some inappropriate gesture,” he said.

“The medical report is saying that when we talked to Imran for a long time, his actions were not that of a fit man.”
