Supreme court orders PM Khan to pay fine for Bani Gala within 24 hours

A Supreme court bench headed by Chief Justice Saqib Nisar on Monday gave Prime Minister Imran Khan 24 hours to pay fine and regularize his Bani Gala property or he will be forced to present before court.

During the hearing of illegal constructions in the suburbs of the federal capital, CJP clarified that PM Imran will have to appear in the court if he fails to pay fine on time.

Imran Khan raised this issue and now when he has become Prime Minister of Pakistan, everything is in his hands, he added.

The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing of a case regarding illegal constructions at Bani Gala, Islamabad till tomorrow.

During the proceedings today, Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar directed the committee, constituted to evolve a mechanism on regularization of Bani Gala constructions, to submit its recommendations to the Supreme Court Registrar office today.
