Govt will ensure security of Chinese nationals: PM



The government would “leave no stone left unturned,” according to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in order to guarantee the safety of Chinese nationals and projects in Pakistan.
According to Radio Pakistan, he said this to engineers from a Chinese business involved in the dam project while he was in Dasu, Upper Kohistan. Jiang Zaidong, the Chinese ambassador to Pakistan, was also with the premier.
Days earlier, on March 26, a suicide bomber murdered five Chinese engineers and their Pakistani driver as they were travelling from Islamabad to Dasu, a construction site for a hydroelectric project in northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Shangla district of Bisham city, KP, is where the bus was attacked.
