PPP always provided people with all basic facilities: minister

Tasneem Ahmed Qureshi, state minister for production and industries, stated on Monday that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) believed in democracy and had worked to ensure that people had access to basic necessities. He claimed in a media interview that Benazir Bhutto, the previous premier, and PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had worked tirelessly throughout their lives to improve the lives of the underprivileged. ‘Roti, Kapra Aur Makan’ [Food, Clothing, and Shelter] for Every Poor By Using All Possible Resources is the PPP’s campaign slogan. Every time the Pakistan People’s Party has in office, according to Tasneem, it has taken action to  improve the lives of ordinary people. He wished the PPP well in the next elections.
